Woodland and Logging
We manage our woodland to keep it healthy, productive, and sustainable all year-round. Regular thinning allows trees space to grow stronger. Deadwood is moved to optimim sites to become “bug hotels”. Paths and access points are maintained for safety. This work supports wildlife habitats and biodiversity. Cut timber is used as firewood. With our Woodland Management Plan, approved by Forestry England, in place, we are determined to provide careful and responsible stewardship of the woodland we are responsible for.
We can supply seasoned hardwood firewood to you for clean, efficient burning in stoves, log burners or open fires. All logs are locally sourced from our own responsibly managed woodland. Seasoned and then split, our firewood is only sold once it is of less than 20% moisture, allowing the wood to burn hotter with less smoke. Free delivery is availablewithin 10 miles of LN4 3WF. This wood is suitable for home use.
